BASIC COURSE
The Basic Air Weapon Shooting Course is designed for student beginners who wish to pick up shooting practice. During this 2-3 hour course, they will be taught the basics required to shoot an Air Rifle or Air Pistol. The course is conducted at the HomeTeamNS (HTNS) Air Gun Shooting Range, and students will be presented with a proficiency certificate (or attendance, depending on the evaluation result) upon successful completion of the course.

Students will undergo a classroom session outlining the safety and basic knowledge on shooting, and will then proceed to receive coaching session on the 2 shooting techniques – Shooting Stance and Aiming. This will be followed by a self practice session under the strict supervision of the instructors, and a final evaluation test which will access the student’s ability to grasp the basics of air gun shooting. The minimum number of participants for the course is 10 students.
Please allow about 2.5 hours for 10-30 participants.
For safety reasons, the course instructor to students ratio is about 1:5.
Note:
1. With the School Affiliation membership, the students may return for target practice after the course but with the present of a shooting coach.
2. This course is endorsed under the Sports Education Programme SEP2014/2015. Schools opted in for SEP will be subsidized 50% of the course fee.
